Terra Alta, Spain. 100% Garnatxa Blanca (white Grenache). “A short maceration on skins is followed by pressing and fermentation. The wines spend 2 months on fine lees to gain texture and complexity.Very aromatic with notes of melon and white fruits on nose. Western Cape, South Africa. “Sourced from a multi-blend vineyard in the Western Cape region. Soils mostly decomposed granite and shale. Left on the lees for 6 months before blending and bottling. Alentejo, Portugal. “A blend of 30% Antao Vaz, 30% Arinto, 30% Roupeiro, and 10% Semillon that aged in stainless steel tanks and in new french and american oak barrels for 6 months. Average age of vines: 18 years. Rich and intense with notes of orange and peach, well integrated with subtle toasty oak. Alentejo, Portugal. “A blend of 40% Aragonez, 30% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Trincadeira, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Gran Canaria (Canary Islands). “A blend of 90% Listán Negro with the rest a field blend of Tintilla, Listan Blanco and Negramoll raised for three months in used American oak barrels (about 7-8 years old on average). Brezeme, Rhone Valley, France. “A blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier. Has a peppery, upfront nose, road tar, typical northern Syrah aroma. The palate is also lively, bears running fruit with saline qualities. There is lots to like here, can be drunk solo, is bang on for grilled foods.
