Seasonal Beers
Often the time of year dictates which styles of beer are most prevalent; as the seasons change, different varieties rise and fall in popularity. Beers usually consumed in the spring include wheat beers, Central American lagers, maibocks and golden ales. As summer arrives, pale ales, IPAs, and fruit-infused beer dominate among the seasonals. In the fall, amber ales, brown ales, and German dark lagers are the preferred styles. In winter larger numbers of black and brown ales are consumed, as well as porters and stouts.
