Spirits has two locations; the original Spirits, opened in 1994, in Essex Square Marketplace in Northport is convenient due to its central location at the corner of McFarland Boulevard and Watermelon Road (Winn Dixie shopping center). The newer location, opened in 2004 and expanded in 2008, is Spirits Wine Cellar on Rice Mine Road in the Shops of Lake Tuscaloosa (Publix shopping center). This store is twice the size of the original Spirits and offers weekly wine tastings, a very large selection of beer including the newly available “high-gravity” brews, and a broad selection of premium cigars (as well as our beloved shop dog, Elliott!).
